Four-year-old Blessing Aoci was in the back seat of a vehicle when it was stolen early Thursday morning in Rock Island, Illinois, police said.

UPDATE: On Thursday, Jan. 16, the Rock Island Police Department announced that Blessing Aoci was found safe and in "apparent good health." Multiple suspects were arrested in connection with the case.

There was an emotional reunion with family after a 4-year-old was found after nearly nine hours in Rock Island. Blessing’s aunt Vicky Berndette was shaken and relieved after the girl was found.

Rock Island Police Chief Tim McCloud told TV6 on Friday that he believes Blessing Aoci was held somewhere else for hours.
