Gabriel Bonfim scored his first knockout in the octagon in the UFC Vegas 111 main event after blasting Randy Brown with a knee that sent the welterweight veteran crashing to the canvas in a heap.

Gabriel Bonfim made his case to move further up the UFC welterweight ranks with a brutal knee knockout of Randy Brown on Saturday.

"If I let Brown control the distance and keep the fight standing, he has an advantage, that's his game. But not with me," Bonfim told CBS Sports through a Portuguese interpreter.
