NFL, Jacksonville Jaguars and National Football League Draft

Former South Alabama quarterback Carter Bradley has signed a reserve/future contract to stay with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Monday signing comes after the NFL team’s defensive coordinator, Anthony Campanile, praised Bradley last week for his role in preparing the Jacksonville defense this season as the scout-team quarterback at practice.
The defense pulled off one-half of their usual formula for success, playing tough against the run. NFL rushing leader James Cook had only 46 yards and a 3.1 per-carry average. The Jaguars did not allow a 100-yard rusher this season and of the 11 1,000-yard rushers they faced, none could do better than 74 yards in a game.
Moments after a season-ending loss, Jaguars head coach Liam Coen found himself in soft coverage. Following a crushing 27-24 postseason defeat to the Bills on Sunday afternoon in Jacksonville, Coen drew praise from an unlikely source: a reporter at the postgame presser.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the NFL's worst teams last year at 4-13, and they are hosting a playoff game as part of NFL Super Wild Card Weekend this year in one of the better turnarounds the league has ever seen.
According to multiple reports, the Cleveland Browns have requested an interview with Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski.

The Jacksonville Jaguars came up short against Buffalo, losing 27-24 in a wild-card game that featured 28 points and four lead changes in the fourth quarter alone.
The NFL almost banned the tush push in the offseason. But it survived a league vote, and the Buffalo Bills rode it on Sunday to a 27-24 wild-card win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. At least one prominent former NFL official is not happy about it.
