Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is getting closer to a return. Sidelined for Monday night’s loss to Kansas City with a hamstring injury, Daniels is expected to return to practice on Wednesday. He was not on the field for all three sessions last week.
Veteran quarterback Marcus Mariota is Daniels' backup, and he will start for the Commanders on Monday night. Mariota is in his second season with Washington.
The losses and the injuries just keep mounting for the Washington Commanders. They are on a three-game losing streak as their season appears to be slipping away.
