PESHAWAR: Alteast 313 people were killed and 156 others injured, while more than 159 houses damaged in rain-related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) latest report, released here on Sunday.

As the search for survivors continues, nearly 2,000 rescue personnel have been mobilized to help recover bodies from the wreckage. At least 137 people have been injured, with many more left trapped under collapsed homes, swept away by floodwaters, or caught in landslides.

Most were killed in flash floods and collapsing houses, while at least 120 others were injured, as Pakistan experienced more rain than usual during the current monsoon season, washing away roads and buildings.
