Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel has rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur. Sky Sports reports that Tottenham and Bayern Munich had reached a verbal agreement on a £50 million deal. However, Tel has reportedly turned down a move to the Premier League side.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are in talks with Tel's representatives over agreeing a move to north London. It's added that Thierry Henry is one of Tel's main idols and that could prove to be a pulling point to lure him to the Gunners. Ex-United star Cristiano Ronaldo is another of Tel's heroes.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are among those interested in Tel, with Manchester United also said to be in the race for the 19-year-old Bayern Munich forward. Bayern have confirmed Tel wants to leave and he appeared to wave goodbye to Bayern fans after their Champions League win over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday.
