The New York Yankees have improved their position in the chase to lock up Juan Soto long-term. On Wednesday, MLB insider Jon Heyman claims he feels better about the Yankees' chances to re-sign Soto than he has before.

Juan Soto is the center of attention across the MLB. Three teams are making significant pushes for his services. Among them are the New York Mets, who recently made a decision that could potentially pave the way for the Boston Red Sox to land Soto.

Hyeseong Kim now has 45 days to reach a deal with an MLB team, with the Mariners, Angels and White Sox possibly in the market for a middle infielder.
