The Boston Red Sox traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. However, one of the trade's biggest beneficiaries was a Baltimore Orioles starter.

Baltimore Orioles slugger Ryan O'Hearn made sure to give a quick thanks to Boston Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow for indirectly boosting his 2025 MLB All-Star bid.

Baltimore Orioles’ star DH threw shade at Craig Breslow after the knee-jerk move to send the star from the AL to the NL. Doing so made Ryan O’Hearn the leading vote-getter for DH’s in the AL. I guess you could say, O’Hearn appreciated Devers getting traded.
