Willie Nelson and his long-running Outlaw Music Festival canceled a concert in Oklahoma following an "extreme weather event" over the weekend.

The Outlaw Music Festival's concert in Oklahoma on Tuesday was canceled because of an "extreme weather event," Willie Nelson said in a statement posted on social media. Newsweek has contacted Nelson's representative for comment outside regular working hours.

Extreme weather caused the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, featuring Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, to cancel two shows, including July 1 date in Oklahoma.
