After a 12-run, 14-hit outburst Friday night, the Phillies pounded 13 hits and drew seven walks Saturday. They’ll take aim at a sweep on Sunday.
Phillies third baseman Edmundo Sosa left Saturday’s win over the Yankees following a collision with outfielder Brandon Marsh while catching a popup. According to the team, Sosa suffered a back contusion and will be evaluated further.

While Judge was diagnosed with a flexor strain in his right elbow, the Yankee bats mostly were throttled without him until a late Giancarlo Stanton homer in a 9-4 loss to the Phillies at the Stadium to fall to 3-5 since the All-Star break and 14-23 since June 13.
