If you still haven’t made a trip to the DMV for your REAL ID, time is running out. Your domestic air travel could be delayed if you don’t have an accepted form of identification at TSA checkpoints next week.

Starting May 7, 2025, a REAL ID or other federally approved ID will be required for domestic flights and access to secure federal facilities. Applicants can begin the REAL ID application process online and should check the DMV website for required documents.
