Master Sgt. Logan Ireland reflects on the Air Force's decision to deny early retirement for transgender service members being forced out of the military amid Trump's ban.

Alyx, who has served in the Air Force for 15 years, said the ban and having her retirement rescinded has put her in a precarious financial situation.

The U.S. Air Force said Thursday it would deny all transgender service members who have served between 15 and 18 years the option to retire early and would instead separate them without retirement benefits.
