A federal judge in Washington ordered CVS Health Corp. to comply with a document request from the US Federal Trade Commission, a win for the antitrust and consumer protection agency in its long-running conflict with drug benefits middlemen.

Aetna and University of Texas Medical Branch reached an agreement to bring customers of the CVS-owned health insurance company back in-network, according to a Thursday news release. The news came a little over four years after a pricing dispute over the rising cost of medications led to a split between the two companies in 2021.

It appears another CVS Pharmacy will close in the Baltimore area. The company intends to close the retail pharmacy at 3915 Hollins Ferry Road in Lansdowne, Baltimore County, on March 6, a company representative confirmed to 11 News.
