All eyes were on the runway at Fort Worth's Meacham airport Sunday for a very special arrival: two planes filled with passengers—the kind with four legs.

A dangerously cold wind chill and a low chance of flurries or light snow will impact North Texas through Wednesday afternoon.

North Texas is likely to see a three-day stretch of bone-chilling cold starting Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Amid an Arctic cold front that arrived earlier this weekend, the region could experience frigid weather until at least midweek the upcoming week.

NEW FAIRVIEW, Texas — A North Texas fire chief has been arrested for allegedly stealing between $150,000 and $300,000 from a volunteer fire department, authorities said.

The next time a similar planetary alignment will occur is in January, making this the last event of 2024 that sky watchers will be able to catch the spectacle.
