A widespread 8-11" snowfall is expected by Sunday morning. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for all of southern Wisconsin beginning at 3 a.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday.
Precipitation may begin as a mix of wet snow and rain across inland areas Sunday morning before transitioning to all rain by afternoon as temperatures rise. The Jersey Shore should see high temperatures in the low to mid 50s, while inland locations remain in the 40s.
A winter storm is expected to leave several inches of snow across the Southeast Michigan region on Saturday into Sunday.
The Illinois High School Association football state championships scheduled for Saturday have been postponed, as Illinois State University is closing its campus due to heavy snow in the forecast.
Despite a little bit of sunshine today, a winter storm is on the way to drop 8-10" of snow on parts of southern Wisconsin tomorrow.
