LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lancaster County man recently returned home to an unexpected sight—one of his mature maple trees had been cut down and partially removed.

"I still think it's just gonna take a long time to process all of it, honestly, said Amanda Meyer, one of Tyler Goodrich's closest friends.

Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said investigators recovered clothing, a cell phone, wallet, a key and a watch — all belonging to Tyler — near the area where his body was found in southwest Lincoln.
