There are only two games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in March 2025 so far, but more are likely to be announced sooner rather than later. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass on a monthly basis, with Microsoft updating subscribers on the new additions every two weeks or so.

The headline item is 33 Immortals, a game from Spiritfarer developer Thunder Lotus that was first revealed back during the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase. The title is entering Xbox Game Preview as the development team solicits player feedback.

Game Pass wasn’t a novel idea when it first launched in 2017. The service was positioned as a direct competitor to Sony’s PlayStation Now (which has since been subsumed into PlayStation Plus) and was similar to the EA Play subscription offered on both the Xbox One and PS4.
