The Chicago clerk’s office has kept identifying application materials for more than 2,700 people who used the online CityKey system since December, documents ICE is seeking.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker responded to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation in Chicago's South Loop Wednesday that drew protesters and resulted in at least 10 people being detained.

Over the past few days, families have been reaching out to WGN-TV raising concerns over the conditions inside an ICE processing center in Broadview.

Chicago leaders are demanding an investigation after agents detained several people outside a South Loop immigration center.

"Let's be clear. Chicago police followed the law. Whenever ICE is engaged in raids like this, if there's a situation where there is a court-ordered warrant for someone's arrest, it is absolutely appropriate for police to be engaged," Pritzker said.

News of another arrest, reportedly at the hands of ICE agents in Chicago’s South Loop, has advocates again lamenting whether proper protocol is being followed. WGN News

Aldermen will hold a hearing “to examine the extent of ICE’s misconduct and determine whether the Chicago Police Department played any role in (Wednesday’s) actions.”
