Sitting behind the desk Jon Stewart made famous, comedian Josh Johnson brought a fresh face to "The Daily Show" at a perilous moment for late-night.

Stand-up comedian and writer Josh Johnson will host 'The Daily Show' on Comedy Central this week, joining a group of rotating anchors who have filled in since Trevor Noah left the show in 2022.

Comedy Central announced Josh Johnson will join The Daily Show's News Team hosting rotation. Johnson, who joined The Daily Show as a writer in 2017 and officially joined the News Team in 2024, will make his debut at the iconic desk on Tuesday.
