The so-called Monsterverse of Godzilla and King Kong is adding a new chapter in Return to Skull Island, a comic book which ties into Netflix's Skull Island: The Animated Series. Skull Island is, of course, the mysterious prehistoric island home of King Kong, one of the main pillars of Monsterverse lore.

Attention, all of you giant monster aficionados out there. While we eagerly await news of the latest Godzilla x Kong continuation on the big screen, the world of the Titans will continue to expand in other media.

It's been on TV, it's been on the big screen, and now Legendary's MonsterVerse is finally coming to comics. Legendary Comics and Titan Comics are teaming up to bring fans "Return to Skull Island," set in the same world as Netflix's "Skull Island: The Animated Series.
