NASCAR filed a countersuit against Michael Jordan's race team 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports on Wednesday, March 5 in response to a federal suit filed in October.

NASCAR has now brought a counterclaim against the teams and Curtis Polk — a 23XI co-owner who has advised Jordan for decades.

NASCAR has accused Michael Jordan’s race team of being part of an “illegal cartel” in a fiery lawsuit. Jordan’s 23XI Racing, Jordan’s longtime business manager, Curtis Polk, and another team, Front Row Motorsports,
