Two members of the National Guard were shot and seriously wounded on Wednesday just blocks from the White House in Washington DC.

The man accused of shooting two National Guard members in Washington D.C. the day before Thanksgiving, lived in Bellingham, Washington State, with his wife and five children, officials said.
