Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid was ruled out for the season back on Feb. 28 after playing in only 19 games. He had a bothersome left knee problem that hampered him in the games he did play as he did not look anywhere like himself.

While that isn't the greatest of news, there is a relieving update going into the offseason. All three of Philadelphia's stars in Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey had their seasons ended due to injury.

Philadelphia’s season will come to an end this Sunday, since the team has fallen well out of the playoff race, so we won’t see Embiid back in action until the fall at the earliest.
