Three-star tight end Jon Grimmett has flipped his commitment from UNLV to Purdue, following Barry Odom. He's the third player to flip his commitment.

I’m not sure if this is the defense Coach Odom is going to deploy next season. He’s yet to hire a staff but I like the odds of him bringing defensive coordinator/protegee Mike Scherer with him to West Lafayette.

The last unknown about the 2025 football schedule was when Purdue would play the schools on its league schedule. On Wednesday, the Big Ten released schedule dates for the 2025 season. Kickoff times will be announced at later dates. Week 1 − Ball State (Aug. 30)

WEST LAFAYETTE — Barry Odom has identified individuals he wants to make up his Purdue football coaching staff. The new Boilermaker head coach just isn't willing to go any further than that right now. Out of respect for the ongoing seasons of those individuals, Odom is keeping his eventual staff hires tight lipped.
