Ramadan 2025 will soon be announced as moon sightings in Saudi Arabia, the UK and Morocco take place. Saudi Arabian astronomers are expected to declare the start of Ramadan this evening, following a sighting of the crescent moon.

The crescent moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, with Roza starting from Saturday. In India, Roza begins from Sunday. Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, New Zealand and Australia have also announced the dates for Ramadan.

However, unlike other religious holidays, Ramadan doesn't start on the same day each year. This is because the Islamic calendar follows the moon's cycle. And what can be even more confusing is that different groups might give slightly different dates for when Ramadan starts,
