Multiple reports say that Rey Fenix is now a free agent and his likely going to reunite with his brother in WWE.

Rey Fenix is now a free agent, but he reportedly won’t be for long. On March 3rd, Mike Johnson of PWInsider and other outlets reported that Fenix was no longer with AEW after he had been removed from the company’s roster page.

Rey Fenix was removed from the All Elite Wrestling online roster page today and he is officially gone from the promotion.

Unquestionably, the Lucha Bros tandem of Penta and Rey Fenix would be a huge boost for WWE's tag team divisions. If Fenix does indeed join his brother on the Raw roster, that could well thrust that tandem into the World Tag Team Championship picture in time for WrestleMania 41. Of course, those titles are currently held by the War Raiders.

WWE may be planning on having Rey Fenix be a part of WrestleMania 41 next month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fenix is the brother of RAW star Penta in real life.

It emerged on March 3 that Rey Fenix had been released by AEW after weeks of negotiations over his exit and he is expected to join WWE imminently. WWE were already making plans for Fenix as of last week and Fightful Select has reported that Fanatics have been preparing merchandise for the luchador.

It took a little longer to negotiate his exit, but the luchador is now free to join his brother & tag partner Penta in WWE.
