Two PA state troopers 'ambushed,' shot during call in Susquehanna County; shooter dead
Two Pennsylvania State Police troopers are in stable condition after a shooting in Susquehanna County on Aug. 7. According to a press release issued by the state police, the troopers were shot after responding to a call on Route 171 in northeastern Susquehanna County, around 5 miles north of the Town of Thompson.
Gov. Josh Shapiro said Thursday that two Pennsylvania State Police troopers were shot in Thompson, Susquehanna County.
Two Pennsylvania state troopers were shot near Thompson. One suspect is dead. Gov. Josh Shapiro and officials are responding.
The shooting happened while the troopers were responding to a call along Route 171 in Thompson Township around 11:30 a.m.
