The purchase of Real Salt Lake by the Miller family could lead to a new sports and entertainment district to bring together transit, dining and other amenities in the blocks surrounding America First Field in Sandy.

The Larry H. Miller family and Miller Sports + Entertainment on Friday finalized their acquisition of the controlling interest in RSL Football Holdings, a group that includes MLS' Real Salt Lake and NWSL club Utah Royals FC.
