Apr 17, 2024 · Hi, following a recent update all of our Garmin Vivoactive 4 (we have 3 in family) are suffering from battery drain, specifically mine goes from 100% battery to 0% in 6 hours without any physical activity, effectively making the device (that was working fine up until 4 days ago) completely unusable.

Oct 21, 2024 · I had the same problem with a Vivoactive 3. Garmin support (great at the time - 2020) offered to replace it for a small up-charge to a new Vivoactive 4. I haven't had the rash problem with it or newer Garmin devices (although software is a mess). So ask for help, they might offer a replacement, depending on your country of residence and your luck.

And last night my V4 showed ridiculously low. Advising someone their level averaged 89% and has dipped below 75% for a period of time should be cause for high-alarm and usually justifies a hospital stay. but for Garmin it's fully acceptable. If you can't get your wrist-reading SpO2 right (+/- 2%) GARMIN, THEN DON'T OFFER IT!!!

My vivoactive 4 keeps randomly shutting off. I have tried factory reset & removing all the apps & disconnecting from phone but the issue still happens very frequently to the point of making the watch unusable. The firmware has been updated to the latest version (6.50). Does anyone know if there is a solution for this?

I encourage you to reach out directly to your local Garmin Product Support team. To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue. Once you get far enough in the search, you will see (at the bottom of the page) some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.

There are differences between a vivoactive and Fenix, that's for sure. There are CIQ widgets that will give you some of the same info though. If the va4 doesn't have an ABC widget, I got one that should work on the va4 for example (myABC) It does on the va3.

It seemed like I would start a walk on my vivoactive 4 and then later I thought I change my walk to tennis on Garmin Connect. But now it seems tennis is not even on Garmin Connect anymore. And I wish tennis would be better listed as singles, doubles, or wheelchair. Although someone mentioned you can create a custom 'tennis' activity.
