Alex bowman is like bread, usually reliable and consistent (when he's healthy). He's not gonna blow you away with his speed but he's never gonna truly run bad. Outside of 2009 and maybe kahne, he's probably the best 4th driver they've had which is absolutely a positive (he's definitely better than mears, vickers, 2009 jr, 2010 Martin)

Bowman is a very consistent driver and not including today's race he's had eight top tens in the last 10 races. Just like how Matt Kenseth won the championship that one year or Jimmie Johnson won seven, in the right points format, Alex Bowman would be a NASCAR Cup champion based on his consistency alone.

Denny had a good gap on him before that chain of cautions. Just gave Bowman shot after shot due too all the restarts. Then Bowman either got lucky by accidentally taking the 11 out, or was playing dirty. Bowman wasn't passing Denny. He couldn't all day, and wasn't gonna there at the end. Either the wreck was lucky or dirty, rake your pick.

You got Hamlin calling him a hack at Martinsville last fall. Now, you got Kyle Busch saying he backs into wins. Am I missing anyone or is he 50% of the way to being Bowman the Sith to JGR.
