The new one in Leander is awful. I’ve been there about 5 times and it’s always disappointing. I’m so used to great food with a long wait at Whataburger that I keep thinking it’s just an off night. But every time it gets worse and worse. The service is slower than any Whataburger I’ve ever been to and the food is just downright bad.

A Whataburger first timer should order a Whataburger. Make it a meal with fries and a beverage of your choice. Add cheese if you please and prepare for a taste sensation. At least that is the way it used to be, before the folks from Chicago took over.

This is Whataburger, not a sit down restaurant. Went.to order them myself & told them nvm & got my regular order instead when they told me it'd be $13+ after tax, last week. Seems Whataburger is starting to go downhill & overcharge like a lot of other fast food places now, what a shame.

Mostly, they will become Whataburgers, with one becoming a CookOut. Here is the rundown: Raleigh (6305 Falls Of Neuse) – Whataburger; Cary (9025 Winston Hill) – Whataburger; Durham (3301 Watkins Rd) – Whataburger; Wake Forest (11690 Northpark Drive) – Cookout. These will be the first locations in North Carolina for the Texas-based chain.

Long time Whataburger fan here. (Born and bred Texan!, Never lived ANYWHERE else...) And while I wont stop eating at Whataurger because of this terrible decision, I do truly miss the Mushroom Swiss burger. My prior favorite was the #4 (Whataburger w/cheese +Jalapenos) but then along came the Mushroom Swiss.
