Just outside the walls of Jerusalem is a place many believe to be where Jesus was buried - and rose again. This is the Garden Tomb. Discovered in the late 1800s, this site closely matches the biblical description found in the Gospel of John: a tomb set in a garden, near the place of crucifixion, known as Golgotha. Many Christians believe this is where Jesus was laid after the crucifixion, and where the Resurrection took place. Others believe the true location is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
