HMS Forth has been officially commissioned into the Royal Navy at HMNB Portsmouth. She is the first of five new ships which will take part in a range of national and international operations, keeping the seas safe and ensuring a truly Global Britain. Her arrival is the second brand new ship to be delivered to the Portsmouth flotilla as part of the Government’s ten year 178m equipment programme to give the forces the kit they need to do the job.
