Six Flags New Orleans, RIP 8/29/05, but still standing today. Originally named Jazzland, the park opened in 2000. Soon after, Six Flags bought the property, rebranding and renaming the park. Throughout 2004 and 2005, plans were underway to expand the park, add a waterpark, hotel, and more. Prior to moving forward, however, the park was closed down for Hurricance Katrina.
