Wild Garlic Pesto… or leek, or ramp… I’ve even heard some call them wild onions. What do you call them? I picked some wild garlic while I was out turkey scouting today. The leaves made a delicious pesto that really spruced up the parmesan chicken we had for supper. The recipe: • 1 cup wild garlic leaves • 1/2 lemon, juiced • 1/4 cup raw pine nuts • 10 stalks of fresh parsley • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste) • 1/2 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste) • 1/4 cup olive oil (extra virgin, if available)
