The term “fallen angel” never appears in the Bible, but angels cast away from heaven for various transgressions have long featured in Abrahamic religions. They’re often described in apocryphal and Gnostic works such as the Book of Enoch. Sometimes they are conflated with demons and earlier pagan deities.
