This is how I clean my griddle after every cook. This takes about 3 minutes and it's so worth it. I turn the propane burner off and then spray it with cold water. That creates steam to help lift that cooked on gunk off. Wipe clean with paper towels and then spread a thin layer of oil over the surface.
